Michael L. Thiel
President
After completing his MBA from Drury University in 1967, Mr. Thiel began a career that spanned 31 years in financial management with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. His financial services industry experience began in 1983 with First American National Securities, INc., a nationwide broker dealer. His firm’s name is THIEL FINANCIAL LLC and is located in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Mr. Thiel is a licensed securities broker with First Allied Securities, Inc., an investment advisory representative with First Allied Advisory Services, Inc., and a licensed life, health, annuity, disability, and long-term care insurance agent in the states of Missouri (Lic. #PR101632), Arkansas (Lic. # 63844), Texas (Lic. #1214902), Illinois (Lic. #494442752), Georgia (Lic. #758065), Kansas (Lic. #884020), and Oklahoma. Mr. Thiel is a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), a professional designation by the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) to those financial advisors who can meet the high standards of education, experience and integrity that are required of all its members.
In June, 2008, Mr. Thiel completed a course of study that led to his earning the designation of Certified Wealth Strategist. The Certified Wealth Strategist program is administered by the Cannon Financial Institute and recognizes those individuals completing a thorough study of the issues surrounding effective wealth advising to comprehensively address clients’ wealth management needs. The creation of the CWS designation is a response to a need in the industry for a practical, application-based certification program for financial professionals. The entire program takes a minimum of six months to complete.
